Today I have a super easy recipe that’s fun for the kids to help out with. You can really add anything to customize these to your taste. I made another batch recently with avocado in the centers, rolled in diced green onion and toasted sesame seeds with a sweet teriyaki sauce for dipping on the side. Think sushi rolls without all the fuss. You could even roll them in a bit of flaked seaweed for that exact taste. The possibilities are truly endless, that’s why I love creating from simple bases. Turmeric Rice Balls
(Serves 1-2 Yields 8-10)

8 oz. Short Grain Brown Rice
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Black Chia Seeds, ground
1/2 tsp Golden Flax Seeds, ground
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Chili Powder
